“Phase 3” body w/larger vents. Converted from CP 1600 (GMD GP9u). Originally CP GG20B 1700:1. Retired and resold as AMTK 599. Photographed in New Westminster BNSF yard on October 31, 2006. Reported headed to Amtrak 8th St. (Los Angeles) Yard.

  2. Just guessing “unrebuilt” as the ones I normally see around here are GP9rm which were rebuilt with the so called “chopped” nose. I simply copied the data from some railfan site
