The clear message of the People’s £50 Million Lottery Giveaway is that people really want to be able to walk and cycle more, says Sustrans chief executive John Grimshaw

That’s around $100m Canadian. A very significant sum, I think you will agree. Imagine what we could do with that kind of investment in our communities. But our government thinks we need freeways.
