  2. Maybe it’s my Teutonic upbringing, but I’m troubled by the common misuse of lose/loose, its/it’s and your/you’re. I suppose I just have to get used to a greater acceptance of “text messaging” literacy standards.

  3. I have corrected “lose” – I do tend to rely on spell check which fails detect right words in wrong places. I am not going to change “itself” – there is nothing wrong with that.

    And I leave Grant to his own devices.

    It is a shame that with all the content on this blog, all you can find to comment on is orthography.
