This afternoon (Saturday march 15) we were a whole bunch of people waiting and waiting at Commercial Drive, around 4 pm. When the bus left it was packed solid…Quite a few people do travel by bus on weekends!
I have tried going from Commercial to Broadway and Cambie by going from Commercial to Waterfront then taking the Canada line…time-wise it is 7 of one and 7 of the other!
Yest, it does sucks!

Price’s video must have been written and filmed by Polyanna! for someone like him, that travels a lot, he is unrealistic,naive, bland, and boring….white flour mixed with white sugar on a white dish in a white room! …everything is so nice we don’t need to change anything….. ..

Who am I and what is this

I am a transportation economist and regional planner, displaced from England by the abolition of the Greater London Council and a dislike of Thatcherism. Until March of 2004 I worked for the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority on wide variety of policy issues. I have long advocated sensible policies to better integrate transport and land use. And this blog is a way to keep up the pressure! It also allows me to vent a bit on related issues.
