  1. the cost of building and maintaining the road itself is especially galling as our local government usually fluffs about a few thousand for ALL cycleways in the area in a year, and recently delayed a hundred metres of gravel path by ten years before claiming the finished result cost €50 000. At the time we asked if it was made of diamonds and fairy dust…
