Thoughts about the relationships between transport and the urban area it serves

About

wordle of the blog from wordle.net

There is quite a bit about me on the side bar.

You can follow me on Mastodon

I used to be a fan of Linux and Android but these days I use Apple.

But in the spirit of wanting to communicate more with the people who spend time here – and especially the bunch who comment (thank you so much!) – this page provides some links to other places I frequent on the web.

Me in 1956

I have another blog on Blogger which is where I put posts that are nothing whatever to do with transport or planning. There are a lot of my pictures on flickr.  I will try to add words to the pictures. I have noticed that most of the people who I list as contacts on flickr are those who write something underneath their pictures. Either they tell me something about the picture – or themselves, and I learn a lot that way. So I am trying to do more of that myself. Please consider joining flickr (it’s free) as you can then comment and select pictures as your “favourites” – this gets them noticed by more people as flickr ranks pictures by “interestingness”. I used to respond the Weekly Photo Challenge on WordPress but they ended that. Shame.

If you really want to know more you will have to send me an email
